Court Sends Businessman To Custody Over N15.5 million Fraud


State High Court  in Kaduna has sent a businessman into custody over allegation of defrauding a man over a business deal.

The EFCC Kaduna Zonal Office, on Monday, November 4, 2019 arraigned Muhammed Abdullahi Rangai on a four count charge bordering on Conspiracy, Criminal Breach of Trust and Obtaining by False Pretence to the tune of Nine Million, Eight Hundred Thousand ( N9,800,0000) before Justice Mohammed Tukur of the State High Court sitting in Kaduna.

Muhammed Abdullahi Rangai’s trouble statrted when the Kaduna office of the Commission received a petition against him by Ezest Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.

The petitioner alleged that one Mohammed Doma and Usman Kana introduced him to the defendant with a view of a partnership into a petroleum business, but ended up being a fraud.
