Emolga Chairman Tom Aliezi Reacts, Says Situation In Rumuodogo Has Been Brought Under Control


The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, High Chief Tom Aliezi have reacted to the incident that erupted yesterday in Rumuodogo Community, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Tom Aliezi says the situation was avoidable to begin with and has been brought under control as the current administration of Emohua Local Government Council is determined to sustain the existing Peace and Security in the LGA with the continuous support of Governor Nyesom Wike which they enjoy as a council.

Tom Aliezi confirmed to True Blue Reporters that about two young men believed to be members of the indigenous security outfit (Rospac) who hail from Rumuodogo community where attacked by group of cult gang which they alone ran into, haven had challenge and disagreement with the young men they alleged left them for local security outfit.

The Emolga Chairman condemned the ungodly incident and assured that the situation has been brought under control, saying there is no need for panic in the community and by members of the public.

He sympathized with the people and advised the Indigenous Security Outfit to improve on the lapses that led to such ugly incident even as they continue to work hand in hand with the police and other security agents and be rest assured of his administration full support to further protect lives and properties in Emohua Local Government Area.
