IYM Emolga Chapter on Wednesday kicked off program on Business Training and How to Boost your business with #Facebook #Digivate and other social media platforms.
The Chairman of Ikwerre Youth Movement (IYM), Emohua Local Government Area; Sir Hon. Lucky U. Worluh, in his address to trainees expressed his earnest desire to engage the people of Emolga and beyond meaningfully if he is opportune to do so. He thanked the participant for getting involved and embracing such opportunity at this time.
Sir Lucky Worluh charged the people on the need to be creative, develop skills and work towards being independent in life, rather than engaging on “too much praises” on politicians who have little or nothing to boast as impacts they’ve made in the lives of the people and the society.
True Blue Reporters reports that the Trainers who are associated with Facebook Company, Jerry Freeborn and Ms Tammy, from the United States of America, in about 5hrs practical training on different areas and topic, exposed lots of business diversification and opportunities using the social media platforms.
The trainers dwelt more on how participants can penetrate the market, make money using hidden opportunities on Facebook and other social media platforms and boost their business ,rather than using the social media for fun only.
The trainees who where adults and business literate mainly from Emolga with their friends from other LGAs in Rivers State utilized the business training opportunity to ask questions and learn new skills which some said came at the right time.
They thanked the leadership of IYM Emolga Chapter for such great initiative and prayed for more.
The IYM Emolga Secretary, Hon. Wenenda Agbagbue and Gibson Elendu, Director of ICT IYM Int’l were also key in the organization of the training program.

The Business Training Program is expected to have another set of trainees on Thursday with an award of certification at the conclusion of the training.
