Sir Lucky Worluh, Chairman IYM Emolga spoke at the Day 2, Business Training on How To Boost Your Business with Facebook and other social media platforms on Thursday.
The trainers, Freeborn Jerry Elemelu, an international business consultant and Tammy MC all the way from United States of America where consulted with the effort of Engr. Gibson Elendu (CEO Gab-Branding Solution & ICT Director IYM Int’l), followed by an IYM Emolga Committee led by Hon. Wenenda Agbabue (Secretary, IYM Emolga) to carry out the training on Business Career with series of trainings on facebook page creation, boosting, advert placement, income generation through social media and lots more for the good people of Emohua Local Government Area (Emolga).
Sir Hon. Lucky Ugochukwu Worluh, Chairman Ikwerre Youth Movement (IYM), Emolga, who gave special appreciation to the PG IYM Int’l, Hon. Azubike Wanjoku for approving the program, explained how the people of the LGA can move forward, hence, developing Emolga at large.
He said, “Our people must start developing skills, embrace creativity and stop running around politicians.”
Sir Lucky Worluh condemned a situation where people will not bother to improve themselves, skill and career for a better tomorrow, rather, will prefer to stay in the house of a politician from morning till night and repeat the next day and so on, gossiping one person or the other.
He said, “90% of the big men you see even in politics today where not born with silver spoon. Many suffered and passed through ugly times for survival to get to where you see them today. Stop praying to be rich without first developing yourself for opportunities tomorrow. Money do not fall from heaven. Talking others down before anyone will not make you better”
Sir Worluh stated that organising more programs to help the people build skills, develop their own business and engaging them on meaningful ventures will help occupy their minds positively and discourage clandestine activities in Emolga.
He further appreciated the trainers, organizing committee and everyone that contributed in one way or the other for the success of the Training.
Participants at the end of the program smiled home, achieving a lot and thanking the IYM Emolga Chapter leadership for such opportunity to be trained.
