Tom Aliezi: We’re In Touch With Banks To Come To Emolga, States Challenges Listed By Banks


The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Chief Tom Aliezi has revealed that his administration is making serious efforts to see that banks are established in Emohua Local Government Area.

Tom Aliezi stated that he has held series of meetings with First Bank and other major banks in Nigeria to see that they establish their branch in the LGA, provided three key locations for them which they also saw for themselves and assured them of adequate security.

Although, the banks declined, sitting security challenge.

He said, “we pleaded to also offer them a space in front of SARS office, even if it means starting with their ATM Gallery”

The banks still declined that the risk of transporting their money around the area was risky for them.

According to Tom Aliezi, this were part of his motivation to intimate and seek for Governor Nyesom Wike’s support in tackling cult related activities in communities and the clandestine activities in East West Road. Today, there’s peace in Emolga, giving the praises to Governor Wike.

He further declared that lots will be achieved and even more by his administration in an atmosphere of peace and unity irrespective of party affiliation.

“We are more focused and will not relent in our efforts to bring development to Emohua Local Government Area”, he stated
