The Role: As a Senior Associate, the candidate ensures smooth operations of our retail products (for example: Send by Flutterwave and Tuition by Flutterwave) through leadership, prompt processing of transactions, customer’s complaint resolution, identifying and resolving issues as well as effective stakeholder’s engagement

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reconciliations: The reconciliation will cover settlement, refund, as well as payout (Wallet)
Dispute Management: Processing of chargeback and refund requests within the SLA whilst focus on process improvement on any operational gaps noticed
Complaint Resolution: Will be responsible for resolving customer’s complaints through dedicated channels
Treasury: Will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring sufficient wallet liquidity on all wallets
Transaction Review: Reviewing of transactions on status other than successful, approval of retried transfers
Leadership: Will provide leadership to the team member(s) on issues and ensuring all escalations are resolved
Stakeholders Engagement: Will be point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders on issues related to Send
Documentation: The candidate will contribute in documentation of processes and Business Required Documents (BRDs)

Required competency and skillset to be a waver

 

Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 4 years in Fintech Operations
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite and experience in account/wallet reconciliation
Knowledge of dispute management and relevant operational procedures and regulations
Understanding of the payment space, regulations, payment methods and relevant experience in Fintech operations
Open-mindedness with improved probing skills
Experienced in process improvement, complaint resolution and stakeholder’s engagement
Remittance experience is a nice to have
Experience in working in a cross-functional team

The Role: Flutterwave is looking for an VP of Infrastructure to join the organization and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure, with a specific focus on cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management and a deep understanding of cloud platforms, enabling them to lead the adoption, optimization, and security of cloud-based infrastructure solutions. They will provide strategic direction to the team and collaborate with other technology leaders to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our infrastructure systems.

 

The individual is responsible for leading the DevOps, Infrastructure, and SRE teams within the organization and would report directly to the CTO.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Develop and execute the infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s goals, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies.
Lead and manage a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with other technology leaders, including the CTO, to align infrastructure initiatives with overall technology strategies and business objectives.
Drive the adoption of best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure management.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the design and operation of cloud-based infrastructure systems.

Required competency and skillset to be a Waver:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Extensive experience working with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other leading cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and containerization.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing infrastructure teams, including experience in talent acquisition, development, and performance management.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, enabling efficient and automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
Solid understanding of security and compliance requirements related to cloud infrastructure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and make strategic decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Reporting to the Account Configuration Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer experience.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Assist in configuring merchant accounts including (MCC review & MID creation) according to specifications
Collaborate with other teams to understand and implement customer requirements
Maintain accurate records of all account configuration activities
Participate in team meetings and training to stay updated on product changes and developments
Contribute to the improvement of account configuration processes
Support the Account Configuration Manager in meeting team KPIs and objectives
