Okerewa Community has announced a unity party for persons from the community and those living in the community for the festive season, Okerewa Unite. They are also inviting the public to rejoice with the community on the existence of peace today after all the community went through in the past.
The program which is tagged; Okerewa Unite Christmas Carnival promises to be loaded with lots of features to glorify God and further enhance the peace and development being enjoyed today in Okerewa Community.
The Okerewa Community Christmas Carnival is slated to take place from 21st to 26th December 2022 at the community playground, Aleto, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Members of the Community Development Committee and others told True Blue Reporters in Port Harcourt that major arrangements for the success of the event are in top gear, as security has also been put in place.
The invited artists are in touch and will be present on the said date to give their best. The chiefs, elites and other relevant organs of the community are all in agreement to make the day a memorable one.
“It is good to dwell in peace and also celebrate peace.” They stated.
True Blue Reporters recalls that Okerewa Community have since turned a new look with lots of development and other turn around ranging from Road Construction, IT Training Centers, Environmental Cleanliness, etc. through the efforts of the paramount ruler, chiefs, Community Development Committee, Youths and others.
