NLC Strike: Federal Road Safety Corps Joins Strike

by True Blue Reporters

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has now joined the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC

True Blue Reporters visited the Federal Road Safety Corps office in Port Harcourt and can confirm that administrative services are shutdown with few staff who reported to office only to face strike order.

Most of the staff refused to talk to us on the issue as they claimed they where not mandated to do so as staff of FRSC

Customers who were available for drivers license, capturing and other purposes where obviously not attended to and where asked to return as at when the strike will possibly be called off by the NLC and TUC

While the federal government have continued to plead with NLC to consider stopping the strike, NLC, TUC has insisted on not going back until their demands are reached.

Gradually, different sections are now joining the strike to further press on the government to alleviate the heightened suffering of the masses and ever rising Inflation that has almost crumbled the nation’s economy
