The former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Monday praised Governor Siminalaye Fubara of Rivers State for embarking on people’s projects in his few months in office.
Nyesom Wike who was guest on the flag off of Port Harcourt ring road project embarked upon by the administration of Governor Siminalaye Fubara used the opportunity to appreciate the man who took over from him for his visions so far and stated that he’s one of the best governors so far in the country
He further encouraged the governor not to give up in his efforts to serve the people better, rather should jettison the idea of Abuja Meetings. Saying that nothing comes out of those meetings but that what speaks for a man are his impacts as a governor.

He promised to stand by him always and called on the Nigeria Delta Development Commission NDDC to go into project partnership with the state government to achieve a complete ring road plan.
He frowned at what he referred to as cash cow in the commission and stated that there’s need to impact more on the people rather than embezzling what should be for the people.
True Blue Reporters reports that the ring road project is contracted to Julius Berger Plc and is expected to run through communities and about six local government areas of Rivers State, with about six flyovers and bridge.
