The Vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt, Professor Georgewill Owunari has thrown light on the situation in the University campus currently after the policy on indecent dressing was put in place by his administration.
Speaking with True Blue Reporters in his office, the Vice Chancellor explained how he frowns at indecent dressing by both male and female students irrespective of religion and belief. He condemned any dressing that exposes sensitive parts of students body, especially in an academic environment.

Prof Georgewill Owunari revealed that the dressing and appearance of the students, especially the ones he has come across recently on campus now is worth applauding, as the students have adjusted drastically to the current dress sense put up by the institution.
According to the VC, “the students I have come across lately are now well dressed as it should be in an academic environment. I commend such good look on them and will still not tolerate indecent dressing going forward”
“Infact, this days I do tell some of them I meet that with the way they are dressed now, they may be the first to make it to heaven unlike before and they laugh” He stated.
He emphasized on the need to make decent dressing part of the students life, as it does not only portray good education but as one trained in learning and character, revealing that it serves as an acceptable lifestyle in the society
