The Okerewa Community Development Initiative popular known as Okerewa Community Development Trust has again taken the bull by the horne with a fresh project on houses and streets numbering in the community.

Okerewa Community which is located Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State is seen as the first to embark on such project in the community. One remarkable achievement is that its a community project with no government involvement.

The lead consultant Dr. Simeon N. explained that the project is a vision that must come through irrespective of any challenge that may be encountered in the field.
He further revealed that from report at the field, Okerewa Community is larger than he thought and explained that with the rapid development witnessed in the community in recent times, there is no doubt that Okerewa is being transformed into City and that himself and his team are proud to be associated with such a fast developing community

One major thing Dr. Simeon applauded is the unwavering unity among the chiefs and community leaders. He eulogized the community development trust under the leadership of Benjamin Ngokanya for transforming the community to what it has become and encouraged other communities within and outside Eleme to emulate from Benjamin Ngoganya and his people
True Blue Reporters reports that Slonze Energy in conjunction with Okerewa Community are in charge of the execution as several places where already covered for numbering as at the time of filing this report.
The project is expected to be fully completed and handed over on or before 20th December 2023 as the community plans towards its 2023 Okerewa Onensi Carnival
Road projects is ongoing, farm projects are all ongoing, health, education project, scholarships, skills acquisition, cooperative office, and so many others are currently existing in Okerewa Community courtesy of the Okerewa Community Development Initiative under the leadership of Benjamin Ngokanya
